a (less exciting) promise in the year of election
So it's election time here again. Luckily there isn't much time between when it was called and the actual election date, so we don't have to put up with crap political ads (writtenandauthorisedbysomeschmuckboringpartycanberra), but it's still so hard to escape. With only 5 channels (and that's including SBS) somehow both the ABC and 9 are showing the "great" debate live. Now the only thing appealing about the debate is watching the 'worm' jump around, and I'm not even sure they're doing that this year. So it's 7.30 on a Sunday night and there's nothing at all on tv. (sigh)
I know I should give a damn about it all, but it's so hard when they're all one big homogenous mush, afraid of alienating anyone other than terrorists.
