Went wandering down by the river late Thursday night, with an almost full moon lighting the way.
Canning Bridge, the six-lane traffic bridge near my place, was originally a horse-and-cart bridge. From underneath, you can still see parts of the original structure. Wooden supports and beams, numbered with carved roman numerals. It's all very different to the busy view from above, and new bus station on the other side of the bridge.
