I've had my trusty little mobile for a little over two years now, so I'm out of contract with Telstra, and the battery's pretty much dead. So I'm thinking of getting a new phone (a Nokia 8310 would be sweet, but it's a little expensive right now) and a matching contract.
So what network is everyone on, and what do you recommend? I'm thinking of switching to Optus, with all their offers it's a pretty good deal. I just want to know what it's like.

you should buy a cheap SIM from them, may be a prepay or a $10 a month and give it a whirl. If you don't like it then not much is lost. The worst would be to get a yer contract on $80 or $100 plan only to find out that the coverage where you hang out/work/live sucks. Just my thoughts.
