saturdays
The past six months or so have been, well, bizarre if only for the regular once-a-week episodes of "Things I never thought I'd be doing on a Saturday."
It usually involved filming stunts for the Oh My show — taking photos of a kid running around with a giant pair of scissors; icing a giant cake just so Matt could fall into it at the top of an escalator; and the possible high-point of watching Matt roll around the CBD in a bathtub full of bubblebath and water.
This fine tradition was continued yesterday, as Matt, April and myself went to an english-themed going away party dressed as a teabag (April) and two giant sugar cubes. It doesn't get much more surreal. The only thing we forgot was to put a cupholder inside the sugarcubes so we had somewhere to sit our drinks (I mean everything has a cupholder these days, right?).

You're right, almost everything now a days has cup holders -- even our car. Too bad they're too bloody small to fit something as typical as a 20oz soda (the bottles hit the dashboard and hence they don't fit into the holds provided). It was a huge messy design screw up if you ask me. 12k down the drain!

Yeah, but after spending all afternoon throwing sand at two giant boxes we had just painted white, wearing them that evening was ever so slightly less strange.
And yeah, where are the photos?
