lloydie

Friday night was the first concert in the Sunset Live series, featuring Nathan Gaunt, The Panics, Rawbone and Alex Lloyd. Nathan Gaunt was great — not his best guitar work ever, but as April says he can get by on his voice alone. The Panics show promise, but aren't really my style, and Rawbone was interesting but also not really my cup o tea.

But Alex was great, better than I was hoping (and I was expecting a lot). Fantastic. Go check him out when he's in town. In the meantime, have a look at some of the live shows archived in the 'Live' section of his website.

Highpoint of the night was getting to shake his hand and say thanks.
