asparagus update
Bad news on the cactus front, I'm afraid. While it may have survived its encounter with the geeky might of the Cube boys, it's now admitted defeat.
It's big, fleshy, spiky, ouchy leaves are now pink and flopping lifelessly towards the ground, and birds are noisily munching on the flowers. Which is the point, I guess, spreading the seeds further afield and all that. It just seems like a shame.
