in summary
I'm in the middle of our ten day holiday, and without net access at home it's been a little quiet in here lately. I'll get around to posting up some photos one of these days.
In other photo news, I decided to live dangerously and not take my digicam camping on the weekend, figuring I'd be less stressed about nursing my precious camera so I could relax a bit more. I did take an el-cheapo point and shoot that Matt bought me a while ago, which is my wish-it-was-a-lomo camera until I actually get an LC-A), so for the first time in about two years I'm shooting with film.
It's a weird feeling going back to film. I miss the instant feedback of digital, but I'd forgotten about the mystery and romance of old-fashioned film. Unfortunately I've got a bunch more photos to take before I finish off the roll (the other thing I'd forgotten about using film).

Hope you had a good time getting back to nature. I have an MT question that I need help with when you're online!

Hey how did the rest of the camping adventure go? You're all still alive and well, I take it?

If by "mystery and romance" you mean "pointless nostalgia" and "bad resolution" then OK, I'm with you. (Len's just sore he doesn't have a digital camera)

C'mon I wanna hear what else happened after the sensible people left on Friday night. How many people hurt themselves whittling, building yabbie nets, making lanterns, destroying national parks and/or playing with fire?

And how many of you suffered caffeine withdrawal the day after...

I'll just put my hand up for both of those right now.
