Kristie's currently quoting a building company to redesign their site, so she's merrily clicking through the pages to get an idea of what they're about. The fun part is they've got some awful MIDI music playing the background, piano lounge music. It's like we're in some weird lounge bar at 8.30 in the morning.
update: One of the guys in the next room at work is once again torturing us with his all-repeat workday... today's lowlight is Mariah Carey's cover of Against All Odds. Is there a greater crime against the listening public's ears than Mariah Carey covering Phil Collins?

We have a policy where I work: If you're going to listen to music, you have to do it with earphones. That way you don't disturb the people around you. You should try to get that policy instated where you work. Friggin' Mariah Carey... That sucks...

We kinda have that policy, but at the same time it's good to have some background music anyway. The plus is, there's always two doors between rooms, so it's never really a problem, you just shut the door and play your own music (with or without headphones:)

well I kinda like Phil.. but Mariah? Goddamn that woman is awful!
Just be thankfull you dont have people moving in upstairs, who have polished timber floors, and lots, LOTS, of heavy objects that they keep DROPPING while a small herd of elephants carouses from room to room.
