Seagulls at Deep Water Point jetty, Mt Pleasant.
Hint: just out of frame on the left is me running down the jetty and waving my arms like a madman. The things I do for a photo...

Ten days away from the site.... that might be a new pb.
Thanks to everyone who sent in a photo -- you guys are the best! I'll put something together to show everyone when I get a chance. Haven't sent a photo in? Jump to it!

It's no secret that photography is great love of mine, and while I've been too busy lately to get out and take some shots I'm sure a few of you might have.
So it's my birthday tomorrow, and what do I want as a present? me the favourite photo that you've taken lately, or head out this weekend and snap something fun for the occasion. I'll put together a gallery after the weekend to feature everyone's gifts.
I might just send a postcard to say thanks!
Update: Check out some of the pics!

Time flies -- it's been exactly 7 days since I posted. My bad.
It's okay though, you haven't missed much. I'm working on a few side projects in my (little) free time. Hopefully there'll be a few things going live in the next few weeks. Hopefully.

How's your day looking?

It seems the price of a Coke buddy has settled around the $2.40 mark, at least down my south-of-the-river haunts. But Action, quite possibly the only supermarket to advertise the total savings were you to buy everything in their ad ($70!), have 600ml of black gold for the hard-to-say, easy-to-type price of $2.22 -- that's cheap (ish) in anyone's language.

Rule 1 of photography -- cameras hate moisture. So when it was bucketing down on Sunday night, what do I do? I take my camera out in the rain. It survived, mostly because I spent most of my time huddled over it shielding it from raindrops.
More photos later today.
