I'm a compulsive saver when it comes to working with files on computers. I've been burnt often enough by losing work in crashes that I've got a reflex command-s every couple of minutes.
This all worked against me today, when Photoshop crashed mid-save on a file. My almost-finished design (saved at least 20 times during the afternoon) has been reduced to a smear of blue and green pixels.
Luckily it's only a couple of hours work lost, and I know how it's meant to look now, but still... I'll be sulking in the corner if anyone needs me.
In other news, I ordered some t's from Threadless today, which will definitely help cheer me up again.

So I'm back. Some brief thoughts while I get organised again:
- Hayfever sucks.
- I've rediscovered that filming is fun, and editing (without crazy deadlines) is even more fun.
- The crash scene of Cast Away has the most incredible sound mix. Rent it out and turn it up.
- I still work too hard (but at least I keep better hours). I had my first quiet(ish) day at work in months last week and immediately came down with the flu. Adrenaline can do anything, even hold off the flu.
- The monday double at Luna tonight is Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction. Woo!

I'm almost ready to get back into this... I'm setting up a new layout and some new Movable Type goo, so watch your step for the next day or two...
I'll probably move the site over from green to grey (which it was originally meant to be, except the whole laptop-colour-shift came into play). And I'm still sorting out my archives, but otherwise it's almost all sorted.
