relaxing
I'm watching the new Coldplay Live 2003 DVD at the moment -- so far the visuals and sound have been as good as I'd hoped... it's shaping up to be a classic in my books. I'm up at my folks so I'm unfortunately without my surround set up, but it's still pretty rocking in stereo (but I'm looking forward to hearing it in DTS 5.1).
Christmas has been good, for the first time this week kinda relaxing too. More later, I've got to get back to my DVD.

They do have a very swanky sound system. I love the thing, I really do. Its just that there's only two (very nice) speakers, and live music DVDs really miss the joy of the extra 3.1 you get with surround. And I think the Neil Finn & Friends DVD nicely demonstrates why the rear speakers are fun with well recorded live music.
