Lest We Forget
Last Sunday I made it to my first dawn service, in Kings Park on the darker side of 6am. It's a pretty moving experience, and an amazing number of people (estimates seem to vary between 30k and 40k). Walking up Fraser Ave afterwards the road was just a solid mass of people all the way from the memorial to West Perth.
If you get a chance next year, it's worth the early morning start to get down there.
