Friday
It's been a really busy week at work, but we've got a lot done and I'm really, really looking forward to the weekend. Come Thursday afternoon I think I'd gotten past (or maybe just used to?) the stress and was kinda coasting along pretending it was a normal day, and not ground-zero of deadlinesville (population 1, and frazzled)
Humour me some geekiness. It's been a long week.
CSS is the greatest thing since sliced bread. If it were possible to combine CSS with bacon, lettuce and tomato to make a tasty, easily updated sandwich; I think bread's time in the sun would be over.
I did however have to resort to using a spacer.gif this week (gasp!) but not like you think. I had to set a transparent gif as the background image in a CSS file to stop a weird rendering bug in Internet Explorer.
Web folks: hands up if IE is the bane of your existence?

My bad -- I couldn't have made it through this week's deadlines without CSS and the amazing K, who can take a client's word doc and turn it into a website in record time.

ahhhh IE, what did we do to upset the gods of the internet so much that we still have to deal with it?
I love those sunnies - very coca-cola.
I'd kill for a deadline right now - the boredom is KILLING ME.
Speaking of - I'll be in Perth for a whole five weeks from Monday, do you two feel like meeting up sometime?
