When in St Kilda...
I've spent a couple of days lounging around at St Kilda Beach and enjoying the warm and sunny weather (21°C! -- My previous comments about Melbourne weather stand, incidentally).
Yesterday afternoon was mostly spent stretched out on the grass by the beach listening to tunes on my iPod. This is something I could really get used to.

I can also seriously recommend a gelati from 7 Apples, as suggested by the Melbourne Punk himself.
I'd have taken a photo of the cone of deliciousness itself (3 flavours - caramel, vanilla and a ferrero rocher-esque one) but that would involve stopping eating it, which would be rather difficult. So take my word for it, it looked good and it tasted good.

This is the most persistent sea gull in recent history. He seems to be over that whole I've-only-got-one-leg thing so he's probably some kind of high-IQ gull super-villain. Possibly with hench-gulls.
I was munching on fish and chips for lunch in St Kilda (it seemed the like the thing to do, down by the coast and all) and he sat stalking me the entire time. When I say stalking I mean that I sat still and ate while he quietly paced in a 180° arc around me. He'd dug a small trench by the time I'd finished.
He finally disappeared once I got my camera out. If only I'd thought of that sooner.

You know what's cool? You mention Evil Super Villians and Hench Gulls and you get adverts for lawyers!
Rock!
