I may have weirded out a few old couples out for a walk last night while I sat taking photos of graffiti on a bridge. I like to do my bit for 'kids these days'

It's guys like you that give "young people these days" a bad name! Although it would have weirder if they'd caught you applying the graffiti before photographing it . . . hmm . . .
