For the record, that photo was taken very, very gently through a flyscreen door (the dragonfly being on the outside of the mesh). I got the focus on the wing texture just right, so it blurred out the mesh (which was right up against the lens) hence the weird moire-type pattern...
If I didn't already have a weird love of macro photography and depth-of-field, this is the photo that sold me on it.
