Space Invader
In the fine tradition of invader-spotting, I spotted this guy down in Freo over Summer, I think while wandering around the backstreets killing time before meeting up with some folks for a drink at Little Creatures.
Speaking of which, I've never been game to take a photo but the guys toilets are pretty damn cool down at Creatures. There's a huge one-way mirror looking out onto the brewery tanks, and some nice industrial-type lighting. I've also been reassured that the Ladies' is also very swanky, but I can't back that up.
Lastly: try the harissa spiced lamb pizza. It's amazing.

Little Creatures is cool. I spotted one of those little invaders in Switzerland. I'll have to dig out the photo and post it on my blog. Nice find.

I'd also recommend the beer. It is the reason the place was built after all (well if you ignore the whole boatshed/crocodile thing).
Foodwise, the nachos are great. I can't bring myself to talk up the pizzas too much only because I have other favourite pizza places on this side of town.

Naturally the beer at Creatures is amazing (international award-winning in fact). I can recommend the Pale Ale, and I'm told their Rogers' Beer is also great.
And as for you Mot, I'm going to have to head over to Melbourne again to visit these "other favourite pizza places" you keep talking up.

I was besides myself with joy when I stumbled across one in Paris - the friends I was with couldn't work out what all the fuss was about. Now I just need to find one in London.

we can go hunting next week when I'm over there - I actually spotted one when I was there last year wandering down some street near a pub (narrows it down doesn't it?!?) after going out for fish and chips.
