And to all a good night

There's about twenty minutes left of Christmas night here in Scotland so I figure now's as good a time as any to wish you a very merry Christmas, in which ever part of the world you spent the day (I hear it's much warmer back in Perth).

Christmas here was a quiet family affair... all in all a pretty relaxing day. How was your Christmas?

Christmas here (Perth) was pretty warm. Got a cool Eames book (no, not just their chairs) from my little bro who recently visited New York's MOMA.

I hear Melbourne had hail and driving rain though? Suckers! Can anyone corroborate?

Ooooh. Eames book. I was bitterly tempted by this one in one of the museum bookshops in Europe (they all blur into one after a while) apart from the fact that it wouldn't have fitted in the already overstuffed car, and weighed a metric tonne.

I remember a forecast for hail in Melbourne, and I've seen news reports of snow in the mountains, but I'd love to hear from anyone who was there for the whacky Christmas weather...
