Row, Row, Row

Our lazy row boat, tied up at the island in the middle of Lake Bled.

After some initial confusion over which seating arrangement was going to be the most stable (and hilarity at the instability of other boats) we set off, charting a fairly meandering course from the shore to the island.

Pretty!

Actually as soon as I posted this it dawned on me (and later that day also to Mister Wilmot, who emailed to query the point) that while the photo is indeed of a boat tied up at a pier on the island in Lake Bled, it's not actually our boat nor is it the pier our boat was tied up at.

It's actually the pier on the opposite side of the island, down some steps and just near that little gazebo where you can bow before that little statue.

But still, you get the idea. Boating on the lake is pretty, even if the photo isn't 100% accurate.
